The employees of the firm have all worked together for over eighteen years and come from diverse educational backgrounds including Appalachian State, Auburn University, Duke University, and the University of Vermont. All professionals have obtained the designation of Certified Financial Planner or Personal Financial Specialist to accompany their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification and are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. The firm undergoes a peer review every three years and each professional completes a minimum of forty hours of continuing education annually.
Lee West, CPA, P.A. was formed in 1986 as a small accounting and tax firm with the purpose of serving individuals and small to medium size businesses and providing them with guidance and counsel to help them grow and prosper. The firm maintains this focus and has added financial planning as well as trust and estate services to its offerings.
